Recieved my tent today. This will be my 4th time purchasing this tent over the last 8 year's. This is my favorite tent to use. I normally buy them off ebay.
So trust me when i say i know a good surplus tent from some beat up junk.
I haven't even opened this tent up yet. I barely peeked inside. But i can tell it's a damn near brand new tent. When it's still crunchy and crispy- you know it's the good stuff.
I plan to make a video and unboxing etc at the right time. I've recieved some fraudelent tents before- claiming new and grade A- when they're not. But McGuires has the best qaulity tents for sure. And for 250. That's a damn good deal- for other guys are trying to sell used and beat up tents for more then 250.
Best get you one while they still have some.
The date on mine says 2017. And that's damn good.

The duffel bag is in GREAT shape — looked new apart from the previous owner’s initials on it. I took the big straps off, put some rubber mulch in it, and tightly tied the top to make a sandbag. The material’s tough and the duffel bag’s working wonderfully as a DIY training tool. Thank you!

I’ve used many bivy sacks over the years and the absolute best one I’ve ever owned was made from Gortex. Unfortunately it was inadvertently discarded by accident and I really didn’t want to spend that kind of money again. I saw this bivy sack on Mcguire’s website advertised as genuine military surplus made out of Gortex slightly used. Whenever I see slightly used, I hesitate; however, I decided to give it a shot for $49. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with this bivy sack. I cannot tell that it is used, looks brand new! If you’re on the fence about this product, go ahead and purchase while you can. It is genuine military surplus, genuine Gortex and for all intents and purposes brand new. A Gortex bivy of this quality would cost upwards of $250-$300 if you can find one. This will go down in my history as one of the best deals I’ve ever tripped over. If this is what you’re looking for and you truly want to stay completely 100% dry while protecting your down bag, jump on this and you’ll never look back! Great company.

Nice double wool knit hat Decent quality wool yarn does not let wind through under 10 mikes an hour. If outside in minus 5 degree weather Triple the hat and scarves and mittens. Double the cotton and double the wool sweaters and jackets and insulated coat over the cotton, triple the cotton wool socks, insulated boots with warmer sacks. Warmer sacks in pockets.
Not advised to be Outside for Mammals in Below Zero Weather fir more than 15 Minutes. Washes and air dries easily.

I bought two one for my wife and me and it's very comfortable we use it for sleeping and wearing around the house
