This Genuine Issue riggers belt was manufactured for the US Military to be used in combat. They feature a nylon webbing belt and a corrosion-resistant metal buckle; the width of these belts is 1 ¾”. These belts were designed to be used by the USMC. Riggers belts get their name from parachute riggers who used to take scrap material and make belts from them.

Did not fit

Good price, nice belt.
Unfortunately it did not fit.
I bought the largest listed 40".
I wear between a 36"-38" waist size depending on brand of pants.
This belt did not fit. The ends could touch end to end but not long enough to fasten.
Again nice belt at a good price if it was only a couple inches longer.
