The Woobie Vest is both a military fashion item as well as a functional piece of outdoor apparel. The quilted vest is made of a nylon outer and a polyester filling to keep your core snug and warm and the interior cell phone and pen pocket are perfect for keeping your items organized and ready.

The vest is made with pride in the USA by the famed government contractor John Ownbey Co.

The John Ownbey Company was founded in 1955 to supply the American Government with jackets and bombers for the increasing number of pilots. After the great air battle successes in World War II the US Air Force but more pilots in the sky than ever before. During the Korean and Vietnam War, the John Ownbey Jackets would see action in some of the most decisive air battles in history. Not bad so far

I wish they had more of them i wanted a small in black they don’t have any more of those . It fits fine and with it being winter If I put it over a fleece hoodie I’m pretty warm . I want the full sleeved to get restocked hopefully they make more of these so I can get other colors !

Great under layer.

I bought this to put under a light coat that I like. After reading other reviews I made sure I sized up. I’m 6’1” 215 athlete build and got a 2XL. It fits great if you want it a little loose. If you are my size with a gut do not get anything smaller. The quality seems good and the material is a little thinner than the type that I was issued many years ago.

Woobie Vest way to small

I ordered this vest in a large and couldn't even button it. I have a 44" chest and no gut. The quality of the vest is fine, but sizing was way off. I passed it down to my 140lb brother.

Solid performing vest made in the US

Was looking for a vest to wear under my Gore-Tex running jacket and was in need of something with pockets that would fit my cell phone. The Woobie Vest fit the bill nicely, plus unlike many other variants out there, the Woobie Vest is US made. It is snug, so order up if our looking for a more baggie fit. Love the light weight, the pockets and very satisfied with it. Its survived two washings and multiple outings.
