Very nice tarp

Quality is top notch but it came with line attach fittings I am not familiar with and there is no documentation/instructions included.

Tarp is nice. Other stuff is so-so

The tarp performed well on its first outing, even with dangerous fires nearby and stronger than expected winds. The pegs are terrible; I'll substitute something from one of my tents the next time. But the quasi-spectra cord that is in this kit is particularly bad. It looks great until you start to use it. After being subjected to shaking around in the backpack, on the second day the cords were tangled together into one big useless knot; not unlike iPhone headphones. And when I managed to get some of the cordage untangled, the plastic blocks supplied to replace an actual knot failed. I just used a knot with a some extra hitches to get the required friction. On the second night's breakdown, I just got disgusted and cut all the cord off. I have better stuff here that I will use for my next trip.

I do like the tarp. It's not the box-store one that weighs a ton, it's not an 'emergency tube tent' that will last a weekend, and it's not a tent fly that costs a fortune. After a weekend I can see that I will get a lot of use out of it on future trips.
