This US Army Patrol Sleeping Bag is part of the Military Issue Modular Sleep System 4-Piece Set. The patrol bag is made from water-resistant ripstop nylon, designed for cool and temperate climates. When used alone, this lightweight bag is rated for temperatures between +30° to +50°, and weighs just a bit over 2lbs. The bag is water-resistant, but for full waterproofing, we recommend the Military Issue Bivy pack which is made from Gore-Tex™, and is fully waterproof.

  • Rated for temperatures between 30°F to 50°F
  • Reversible double-pull slider allows ventilation on either side
  • Non-locking slide fastener self-repairs in the event of jamming or snagging
  • Hood adjusts for heat retention; includes nylon draw-cord and barrel lock

Second time a charm

After I returned the first sleeping bag, I received a second sleeping bag. The sleeping bag is as expected, I like that the item is classic Military olive green.

I have ordered a number of items from McGuire over the past year or more and everyone of them has met or exceeded my expectations. From a tent, sleep system, clothes and more the quality is great and the prices are more than reasonable. While I had a issue with two separate orders over the past few months, customer service was quick to respond by text or phone and the problem was solved. I will certainly purchase items I need for my outdoor adventures, particularly camping and backpacking. Please note I'm almost 70 years old and I never wrote a review for anyone, but McGuire has earned my effort. Please give them try if they have something you need or just want, you have little to lose.

Great Bag, Easy Order

I ordered a used Patrol Bag a couple weeks ago now and have had one opportunity to use it. The bag was perfect used in back of my 4Runner in North Carolina. Ordering was easy and the bag arrived within just a few days. I couldn't be happier!
